本 App 不需要注册、不需要登录，我们不收集你的姓名、手机号、邮箱、位置、通讯录、设备标识符等任何用于识别你个人身份的信息，也没有用于用户追踪或广告的功能。
为了实现语法检查、翻译和语音识别等核心功能，本 App 会在你主动使用相关功能时，将以下内容发送至第三方 AI 服务进行实时处理：
这些内容仅用于生成你当前请求的结果，处理完成后即返回给你使用。本 App 不会在你的设备上或我们的服务器上长期存储这些文本或录音，也不会将其用于识别你的个人身份。

本 App 的键盘扩展需要你授予"完全访问权限（Full Access）"，这是为了让键盘能够联网，从而调用上述 AI 服务完成语法检查、翻译和语音识别。若不开启该权限，键盘将无法连接网络，相关功能将不可用。我们仅将该网络访问用于本政策所述的功能，不会用它收集你的键入内容用于其他目的。

Welcome to Penpal (the "App"), a keyboard that helps Chinese speakers write more natural text in the language they are learning, including English, Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, French, German, and Spanish. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
The App requires no sign-up and no login. We do not collect your name, phone number, email, location, contacts, device identifiers, or any information that identifies you personally. The App contains no tracking or advertising features.
To provide grammar checking, translation, and speech recognition, the App sends the following to third-party AI services for real-time processing, only when you actively use the relevant feature:
This content is used solely to generate the result you requested and is returned to you. The App does not persistently store this text or audio on your device or on our servers, and does not use it to identify you.
The App relies on the following third-party AI services. Your input is transmitted to them when you use the corresponding feature, and their processing is governed by their own privacy policies:
We recommend that you avoid entering or dictating highly sensitive personal information (such as passwords or bank card numbers) while using the App.
The App's keyboard extension asks you to grant "Full Access." This is required so the keyboard can connect to the internet and call the AI services above for grammar checking, translation, and speech recognition. Without it, the keyboard cannot access the network and these features will not work. We use this network access only for the features described in this policy and do not use it to collect your keystrokes for any other purpose.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
